It just keeps getting better - a look back at Fall Market 2023
Fall Market prep is full speed ahead and we’re excited to introduce all the amazing new and returning vendors for 2024 very soon. Danielle spends every spring and summer meticulously curating a diverse and unique vendor lineup; year six has been no exception.
Amid the busy planning season, we want to take a quick look back at 2023. Last year we added a few new elements, including a GIANT swing made from cedar trees from around our home that was quite the hit! We love getting to add these new and unique elements every year that make the experience even more enjoyable for you all.
We hope you’ll join us this year! Grab lunch or an early dinner, stock up on your fall decor, shop with any of our fantastic vendors, enjoy yard games with your family, or take some time to stroll our nature path. We will also have a lot of new fall fun activities this year! Hay rides, a flower patch, and fall photo ops!
We’re adding quite a few new additions to the market this year, some we’ll reveal leading up to the event, some that will be a day-of surprise. We can’t wait for your families to come have fun on the farm!
Join us on Sunday, September 22nd from 11AM-4PM at Hayden Farms located at 1195 New Cut Road, Whitesville, KY.

Cup of Hope
“Cup of Hope is a small business that I started in June of 2022. After four years of struggling with infertility, IVF was the next step in our journey to starting a family. Anyone who has struggled with infertility can tell you that it is extremely expensive with no guarantees. As I began to brainstorm ideas to finance our IVF cycle, Cup of Hope was born. I realized that I am not the only woman struggling to grasp onto what little HOPE they have left. Not just women struggling with infertility, but that new mom who is struggling to navigate her new life, that new teacher who feels lost in her first year of teaching, or women struggling to get through the day to day. I see you, I am you, and I support you! Although the original idea for Cup of Hope was a thought that came to me to help save extra money for our future fertility treatments and medications, it has morphed into a way for me to bring a little bit of HOPE into your life! A way to support, advocate, and encourage women in whatever stage of life they are in! An outlet to share awareness of infertility, miscarriage, and the struggles of pregnancy and loss of children. I hope that by sharing our journey and our faith that I can help other women and their families navigate the unknown. Help them find hope, faith and patience in their waiting.”

Page + Co.
“My name is Avery Greer, owner and operator of Page + Company, located in Murray, KY. A little back story about my business...when COVID-19 hit and I was stuck at home doing online school my senior year, I decided I needed something to occupy more of my time. I started making a few shirts here and there, and eventually people became more and more interested. I decided to make a business out of it-that is how Page + Co. came about! In July of 2022, we launched our online store and with all of the support opened a brick and mortar in March of 2023, which was my dream! As a small town business owner, I really enjoy interacting with the different customers and knowing I'm having a positive impact on their buying experience. Working independently has given me the opportunity to develop my communication skills as well as my problem-solving skills. It has also taught me how to be more outgoing and confident. I graduated from Murray High School in 2021 with honors. I am currently a nursing student at Murray State University with plans to pursue a career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). I am employed by the Murray Calloway County Hospital Emergency Room as an ER Tech. I have a great passion for caring for others and want to learn as much as I can on the job to gain experience. I have a mini goldendoodle, named Hadlee, who is three. I purchased her in March of 2020 right after the world was shut down due to Covid. She and I spend a lot of time together in my new business adventure! In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at Hardin Baptist Church, babysitting, cooking, traveling and shopping!”

Kahawa Java
“In 2019, the journey with Kahawa Java began when Ticy's daughter, Ayanna, was attending WKU (Western Kentucky University). Together, we envisioned a coffee truck venture, which was temporarily put on hold due to the pandemic's arrival. Fast forward to 2022, with Ayanna living in Houston and Ticy exploring a new career path, we decided to merge our efforts. In May 2022, Ayanna returned home, marking the official launch of Kahawa Java. The name "Kahawa Java" holds special meaning as it originates from the Swahili word for "Coffee," signifying the heart of our authenticity. Beyond simply serving coffee, our mission involves rekindling genuine human connections. In this digital age, we aim to provide a space for face-to-face conversations within our shop's cozy and modern-chic interior. We deeply believe in the unifying power of coffee. Guided by our motto "The pattern of coffee and conversation," Kahawa Java is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections. Whether it's reuniting old friends or sparking new bonds, our shop is designed to offer more than just coffee and pastries – it's a place for enriching experiences that truly resonate with the soul.”

French Ridge Pottery
“I (Robbie Gayer) grew up in Tell City Indiana and we always did crafts at our house. I was in band and loved to sing also. It was just natural to create things. I didn't take art in school because I was too interested in music but I always envied those that could make beautiful things. I took some pottery classes at our local high school in 2000 and I was hooked. A friend set me up with my first small kiln and I was off! I started making stuff to sell around 2008, going to shows to sell stuff to buy stuff to make more stuff. I love everything about working with clay; the way it feels in my hands, the way it molds into things that are in my mind. I use mostly medium fire clay because I like the look of the speckles when they are glazed. I have taken workshops at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and a weekend workshop at Midsouth Ceramics in Nashville, Tennessee and The Morean Art Center in St. Petersburg Fl. Other than that, I have no formal art education. I am mostly self taught. But that's a lot of the beauty of pottery. You learn as you go, mistakes and all. My favorite thing to do is extrude coils, stack them up, smooth the outside of the pot, then carve flowers in it. They are different every time. I like to layer glazes because they combine to make new and different colors. I graduated from Tell City High School in 1974. I married the love of my life in 1992 and had one son. My husband died in 2011. My son is married to the love of his life and they have two kids, a boy and a girl. They are both very talented in their own right. When I was growing up I was in love with horses. I never thought that anything could make me happier than horses but clay does that. It's different every day. I love that.”
